Product update: what’s new in the OptInsight Consent & Preference platform
We’re pleased to share the latest developments at OptInsight. Over the past period, our Consent & Preference solution has undergone significant modernization, meeting the latest technical standards and making integration with systems such as Veeva, OCE, Salesforce, and digital channels even more seamless.
01 Platform enhancements
A selection of recent improvements:
- Enhanced match & merge engine our matching algorithm has been extended to identify HCPs across any identifier, with scoring based on the most recent opt-ins and additional checks on full matches, further improving the quality of both incoming and outgoing data
- Upgraded Campaign Manager to send content emails directly from the platform, fully connected to each HCP’s consent and preference data. Campaigns can now be scheduled, previewed before sending, and tracked with per-recipient delivery status, a suppression list, and a dedicated sender address with test-send functionality
- Second-generation call campaigns call campaigns now include call results, status tracking, and cross-campaign statistics, giving a clear view of what has been sent to the call center and its outcomes
- Consent dashboard & reporting 2.0 a KPI-driven consent dashboard, paired with exports that reuse exactly the filters applied on screen, giving clients faster, more reliable reporting based on one single source of truth no matter what source is used as consent channel.
- Audit trail & sync transparency audit logs, synchronization logs, and webhook logs per client turn “it doesn’t seem to have worked” into a traceable, specific answer.
- Self-service email updates the Consent Center now allows HCPs to update their own email address directly
- New “Magic Link” in email footers every HCP is taken straight to their personal OptInsight Consent & Preference Centre. Rather than a static link, it’s dynamically populated per recipient via a Veeva field token, ensuring preferences and opt-outs are processed correctly and synced back to Veeva
02 Expanded partner ecosystem
We’ve also grown our partner network, enabling easier technical integration between these providers and our Consent and preference management solution to strengthen targeting and HCP engagement:
- Xpeer App an accredited digital medical education platform that engages HCPs through bite-sized, trusted content, helping strengthen relationships alongside consent-based outreach
- Exaris Solutions an AI-driven HCP targeting solution that supports more precise identification and engagement of the right healthcare professionals
- Onomi Onomi captures what HCPs actually say and do at your congresses, webinars, advisory boards, and medical education meetings, such as consent and preferences
03 Introducing: Consent-as-a-Service
Alongside these technology updates, we launched a new proposition: Consent-as-a-Service. Built on the foundation of our existing SaaS platform, this service adds a range of activation channels, including phone outreach and social media to collect and maintain HCP consent and preferences over the long term.
This is designed for pharma and biotech clients who prefer to fully outsource consent and preference management, whether because they lack in-house capabilities or would rather focus their limited resources elsewhere. We are already rolling this out for some clients.
